The Houston-Area ALC Training Series provides friendly, no-drop training rides to help prepare you for AIDS/LifeCycle.

Join us for a ride along Brays Bayou, Buffalo Bayou, and White Oak Bayou! Route will be on bayou hike and bike trails and city streets. While the routes are predominately flat, there are numerous ups and downs as the trails go from street level down to various levels within the bayou trench and back up again. Points of interest on the primary route include Hermann Park, MacGregor Park, Mason Park, Greater East End, Second Ward, The Heights, Buffalo Bayou Park, Downtown Houston, and Midtown. Second route will be an out-and-back on Brays Bayou Greenway Trail west of Hermann Park. Notable eateries on the route are Local Foods, Melange Creperie, Cloud 10 Ice Cream, and Three Brothers Bakery. Ride start will be at the turning circle on Concert Dr at Miller Outdoor Theater. Ride will be rescheduled in the event of rain.
