We are a group of cyclists who enjoy cycling the roads of Southern California, primarily Orange County. Members also train for the AIDS/LifeCycle (545 mile ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise money for AIDS services in California). We are a welcoming group focused on training and comradery. Join us in Orange County for a training ride!
The Standard Route is 33 miles with a pit stop at Bruxies in the city of Orange. (Note: if Bruxies is too crowded, just go down one block to Philz Coffee.) The return to the cars will be up Santiago Canyon to Jamboree and the bike trail at the bottom.
The Advanced Route is 48 miles long and will break off after the pit and head up to the SART with another pit just off of Imperial Highway. Then it’s back down Santa Ana Canyon Road to Santiago Canyon and the same way home as the Standard Route.
The standard ride is for those who haven’t ridden long distances previously with the intention of working up to being able to do the ALC ride with confidence.
The advanced route is for those looking for a bit more of a challenge.
Join us at Tacos and Co. afterwards for Tacos and more!
The standard route is at:https://ridewithgps.com/routes/45602403/
The advanced route is at:https://ridewithgps.com/routes/45602487/
All skill levels are welcome! If any ride is too much, we will work with you on making sure you have alternatives to the entire route. You will have a great bike ride. That’s a win! And remember, safety is critical. We will be following all bicycling laws and regulations as well as COVID regulations.!
