Tour de Palm Springs Preview w/ DHS Extension

The Roadrunners’ annual jaunt out to Beaumont for some climbing.
Two route options: 48 & 74. We’ll meet at Townie at 7:30 am, ride out at 8 am. While the route for Tour de Palm Springs changes every year, this is one of the previous half-century routes. We’ll head to the north end of PS, then head east past the 10 freeway out Ramon to Bermuda Dunes. After Pit 1, we’ll loop around Indian Wells to Pit 2, our fav Starbucks on Technology Drive. Folks doing the half century will head back into PS via Dinah Shore. We have a 25 mile extension for folks looking to do the long options on the real TDPS in February……a way to get more miles. That Extension heads up the CVLink & Gene Autry up to DHS for Pit 3, then on to Pierson with a return on Worsley to Indian Canyon and back home.
All skill levels are welcome! If any ride is too much, we will work with you on making sure you have alternatives to the entire route. You will have a great bike ride. That’s a win! And remember, safety is critical. We will be following all bicycling laws and regulations as well as COVID regulations.!
