50 miles, 855′ climbing. Meet at Townie Bagels at 8 am PT, ride out at 8:30 am. Please join us for our very popular annual TREK to the Indio Tamale Festival! This “flat 50” round trip ride is always a fun time. This year we’ll have the Trek team helping out with bike parking at the festival and serving as Pit 3 on our return trip back to PS. It’s a festival, so wear something bright/fun! It’s basically a straight shot down valley to Indio with a Pit on the way. Festival opens at 10 am (careful not to arrive early). Bike parking at the SW corner of King & Miles. Our trip home takes us through Trek Palm Desert. We’ll be on the 111 for a bit, so always be careful of holiday traffic! Bring some cash for the tamales (they’re yummy, and tons of choices) – our roadies will have coolers if you’d like to “buy a bag” to enjoy later and pick up from Scott at the end of the route. Come join the fun!

All skill levels are welcome! If any ride is too much, we will work with you on making sure you have alternatives to the entire route. You will have a great bike ride. That’s a win! And remember, safety is critical. We will be following all bicycling laws and regulations.
