AIDS/LifeCycle Kickoff Rides are our first rides of the season and completely beginner-friendly; all-paces-welcome, and open to all! If you’re curious about joining the Ride, this is a great way to get to know the community and go on a ride with us before deciding to register. We have a delightful 22 mile ride with a great view of Golden Gate Bridge or an 18-mile route to enjoy. Both routes pedal through Golden Gate Park, along Ocean Beach, and, after a rest stop, do a scenic loop around Lake Merced before heading back to the park.
Join us afterwards in Golden Gate Park for a lite lunch! Let’s celebrate our first ride of the season with yummy food and new friends.

All skill levels are welcome! If any ride is too much, we will work with you on making sure you have alternatives to the entire route. You will have a great bike ride. That’s a win! And remember, safety is critical. We will be following all bicycling laws and regulations.
