New for 2025, a monthly training ride series based on the SF peninsula. We meet on the Second Sunday of every month and are an open and inclusive group for riders of all backgrounds and skill levels. All rides are “no drop” so you’ll never be left behind. Because of our location, we will tend to do shorter rides with a little more climbing than many other ride series. We will cover some of the most iconic bay-area cycling routes as we prepare for our 545 mile journey to end AIDS.
As many of us will be doing the Day On The Ride on May 3rd, this route is a little short for a May ride; it has some hills, but no monster climbs like we’ve been doing. We will take the bay trail south to Redwood City and up into Woodside, meander through the lower section of Woodside and Portola Valley, and return on Cañada, Polhemus, and lower Crystal Springs roads.
The RidewithGPS Route is: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/50534067/
All skill levels are welcome! If any ride is too much, we will work with you on making sure you have alternatives to the entire route. You will have a great bike ride. That’s a win! And remember, safety is critical. We will be following all bicycling laws and regulations!
