It’s been a few weeks since AIDS/LifeCycle and you’re missing your bike and the Love Bubble. What do you do? Go for a social ride! Keeping it Up is a series of social rides between the Ride in June and the San Francisco Kick-Off Ride to help keep up the Love Bubble after the Ride, as well as keep our legs moving and hearts pumping to keep up on some of our conditioning. Whether you’ve done the Ride or not, or ever intend on riding in ALC, everyone is welcome to come and have fun on bikes with us!

This week’s route is a bit different from the routes we usually ride on AIDS/LifeCycle training routes. Starting from McLaren Lodge we’ll cross over Golden Gate Bridge and climb Hawk Hill. Then we’ll descend back to the roundabout and towards Rodeo Beach. We’ll go to the beach by way of the big gun at Battery Townsley (please note, there’s about 1.6 miles of gravel and packed earth – the Rodeo Beach loop can be skipped if desired), and the get go through the tunnel on our way to Mill Valley.

This is a Social Ride and not an organized ALC Training Ride. There is no support and no TRLs. Think of it as a bunch of friends getting together for a ride! We will be sure to follow safety rules.

Reach out with any of your questions or concerns.
